The Farewell day of Volunteers from Hong Kong

According to provide good communication with all national and international institutions, by the side of
13th June 2011, Child Hope Organization (CHO) received six volunteers who come from university in Hong Kong to teach poor children that were studying in Child Hope Organization center, and they worked there for two months. In the time that they worked in CHO, all the volunteers have pitied the children who are the poor, orphaned, vulnerable children and some children have loaded HIV/AIDS situation. In their achievement, all the volunteers always teach the children patiently and compassionately and they also played with those poor children with kind of friendly.

Moreover they give some equipment for studying, toys to those children. In these two months all the volunteers have kept the good advices and show their own country education pattern system to their students. Even if they were in a hard situation of teaching to the children who background less-education make them in difficult manners but they still be fearless that make their students proud and intelligence when they study in CHO. At 05th August 2011 is the last day of their working in CHO for the period of 2months. They were depressing that make all the volunteers can’t forget their good souvenirs with the children in Cambodia who are in disadvantaged condition, and this is rare chance that never have before for their life. |
All their students cried and hugged their teachers, as they don’t want their teacher go away and the students didn’t want this day happen. This instant show us that the volunteers have received a success for their working experiences to the hard point and they hope this occasion will show them good result in the future. In this last day some children danced blessing dancing which is a traditional cultural Cambodian dance present to their teachers, and the students bless them to meet with happiness lucky health and peace forever. To repay the volunteers sang their song to say goodbye to their students. More than that they gave a lot of souvenir things to all the children in CHO before they’re left, but they're hoping to be back in one day of near future.
The visiting of Mount Scopus Memorial College, Melbourne Australia

On Wednesday 29th June 2011, Child Hope Organization (CHO) has to make a hosting event for a whole day to Students and Professors from Mount Scopus Memorial College, Melbourne Australia. Because CHO has a good cooperation with the Angkor7 tour and travel company to organization of this event to happened. The visitors’ amount 27 persons have arrived at CHO office at 08:00am morning, and then the CHO Executive Director, staffs and children have been greatly welcome to the visitors. |

The purposes of the visitors are to visit, aware and learn of the Cambodian children and society also they’re willing to help to the developing country. Moreover, CHO has to support by the visitors to build a new wooden school in it compound for the children to study English language. Due to the visiting time, the visitors have done many works such as school built, painting, visit to poor children families and playing with children. The visitors have been workhard and challenge to built the school, however it’s hot day, but they can finished the work completely as then a school with beautiful colors has been appeared in CHO compound. |
During that time CHO also has to received others support such as footballs, toys, cloths, soccer-football shirts and many others things from to give for children at CHO center. Additionally the visitors have been delivered the footballs and soccer-football shirts from The Reagan Milstein Foundation to children and CHO for its donation.
This happening, the visitors has learnt much about Cambodian poor children life and society, as this is showing heart to help the global poverty humanity.
The event has finished by 04:00pm at that day, and all visitors have been left Child Hope Organization office with many memorials of their activities to helping poor children in Cambodian.
