Cooperation between CHO and Austin college

We have good communication with the external institutes. Recently, CHO has received an Internship from Austin College in Texas-USA. His name is Randy Tea. He is willing to work hard to help poor children in Cambodia. He taught English, raised funds and was also involved in many organization programs. However, he interned with CHO for 3 weeks, a time period too short time for him, but he was very happy to see the good activities of CHO. He will help look for charitable people, donors to support the CHO program proposals. He feels very sympathetic during home visits to the children's families, and he saw many poverty conditions, such as lack of food, poor educational support, hazardous labor exploitation, domestic violence towards to children… etc. He learned much about Cambodian children and the community situation; therefore, he hopes that his work will help reduce some children problems. He loved to teach English, play with the children and entertain with jokes and stories. The children love him very much and they're happy to participate in his classes. Randy has had the opportunity to see the situation of the real life of impoverished children and their communities. Those children and their families mostly live in slum areas and poor villages.
